PUTRAJAYA, 30 July 2015 (MalaysiaAktif) – British Prime Minister David Cameron, is in Malaysia on an official working visit , which is part of his four nation tour of Southeast Asia.
He is accompanied by Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Sajid Javid,; Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Lord Francis Maude, Minister for Small Business, Industry and Enterprise, Anna Soubry, Minister of State for Defence Procurement, Philip Dunne.
Cameron’s entourage includes a 30-member business delegation from the United Kingdom.
He is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Both leaders will be discussing bilateral relations, including trade and investment, education, defence and cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth and the United Nations.
The two Prime Ministers are also expected to discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Cameron is the first British Prime Minister to visit Malaysia in two successive terms. His previous visit was in April 2012.
